I love our Sunday's. I love being at church, worshipping, hearing the word, etc. This Sunday was just an exceptionally good one. We got up and had breakfast, took our walk, which are back in full swing since it has cooled a little, went to church, ate lunch, did some shopping, made dinner, and now realxing....well, finishing laundry and Sunday chores, but you know what I mean:) This really is one of my favortie days of the week-other than Weston having to go back to work tomorrow. I am so thankful for all I have been given, and the many things I have been so graciously blessed with. My family is so incredibly important to me and when I grow old, I pray that I can look back with few regrets! I pray I can look back and be confident I did my best at following God's will and His word.
I have also committed to praying everyday for a friend and her husband. My friend Elizabeth just said goodbye to her husband. He will be gone for a year to Iraq, and I am trying to pray daily for his safety, her comfort, and ultimately God's plan to be fulfilled. There are some things that make deployment very difficult, but lots more that bring us to all knew places. It has been neat how God reminds me everyday of them. Even if I don't remember during the day, Wyatt and I pray at night! I am not just lifting her up, I am also trying to remember all of those men and women serving. I am so eternally grateful for all of my family, friends, church members, and even people I don't even know, for praying so diligently while Weston was gone. Without that, who knows where I could have been.
On another note, I am hitting 16 weeks (4 months), and I will update my picture and survey this week!

I made it to Scott and White!!!
Well, I have been in the process, once again, of transferring from the Army hospital to Scott and White, here in Temple. I actually read yesterday that it is in the top 100 best hopsitals in the nation! Anyways, I also had Wyatt there and loved the hospital, so I transfered again. I had my first Dr. appt. yesterday with them, and everything is still on track! I am into my 15th week of pregnancy, and everything looks good! I had a very nice doctor yesterday who has been delivering babies for 25+years. She actually said she was surprised they let me attempt delivery for so long with Wyatt, because the way I am built "down there" almost makes it impossible. She said unless I had a really small baby...which we all know won't happen with Weston's genes. On top of that, Wyatt has a big head, so it makes sense:) I go back on Sept. 20th for my scheduled checkup and then on the 22nd we have our ultrasound! I will update again this weekend after the MP Ball, and defintely will after those apppointments!
Happy Thursday,

A family day at LBJ Library in Austin, Texas!
We have had a wonderful family weekend! It was so nice to just be together as a family and do some sightseeing and learning!:) Friday we spent the day running errands and had a relaxing night of watching movies! Saturday we headed out early and went down to Austin. I have been wanting to go to the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential library for a while, and we finally went! It is the ONLY FREE presidential library there is. I was not expecting such a wonderful experience. For a free library, it was incredible. Most of the time, when something like that is free, there really isn't much to see. I was utterly amazed at all they had in this lirary.
Everything from the time the President and First Lady were born, until they passed was there! They had letters from them to their parents, love letters to eachother, clothing the wore on the day of Kennedy's assasination, the presidential motorcade, the bible he took the Oath of office on, his library of papers, His ENTIRE oval office as it was when he was in the white house, Lady Bird's private office, as was, and soooo much more. I thouroughly enjoyed every minute of it. They also had a temporary exhibit for Walter Kronkite which was interesting, as well. Overall, it was very enjoyable, and extremely educational. Those of you who know mw well, know of my strong interest in the Kennedy's, especially the presidency years. I never really knew much about the Johnson's. My view on them has totally changed since visiting here, and I learned so much about our history!! We also got a good view of the bell tower where the mass killing happened back in the '70's. A man climbed up in the tower and picked off and killed students as the walked on cmapus at UT. Very sad, but interesting to see the site. As you can see, I obviously liked it, so I encourage anyone who comes to Texas, to make a trip to see this extrodinary library! Below are some of my favorite parts of the tour, and then a collage of the rest! Hope you enjoy:)

The President's Motorcade

The clothing the Vice-President and Lady Bird wore the day of Kennedy's Assasination.

Portrait Wall of all the Presidents and First Ladies-It was beautiful!

Jewelry gifts the First Lady recieved during her time in the White House

The Oval Office as was during Johnson's presidency

Wyatt and I in front of the fountain!

My Loves:)

All the rest!
Will blog again later~

Grandpa Sis
Well, the time has come for my Grandpa to stop taking his Dialysis treatments. He has been beyond a trooper! I wish I had enough time to tell you all the things he has accomplished in his life. He is one of the most incredible men I know. He joined the Army at a very young age, served for 30+ years (Active Duty and at the Pentagon), raised 10 children on his own, helped invent the MRE, had 30 grandchildren, and so much more. He has also been through a lot in the later part of his life. He suffered from a brain tumor about 10 years ago, one that we thought would then take his life, but he won that fight with flying colors. He recently had his right leg amputated, and got right up and started life back with one leg. Recently, however, the bowts of pneumonia and rounds of dialysis have just worn his body out. The family decided last week that it wasn't fair to him to keep putting him through the continuous cycle of dialysis treatment turn pneumonia. I tell you, I can't imagine how hard it must be to make those decisions about your parent, but I am thankful my family has his best interest at heart. It must be incredibly hard to not be selfish at a time like this.
Despite all of this, JESUS is in control. Thank him that Grandpa knows his salvation is true, and he is heading to meet Grandma in heaven! Grandpa Sis has had a full, blessed life! BUt no matter what, we all should know without any doubt where we will be at the end of our time here on earth. The only thing that matters is that we have a realtionship with God. "He is the way, the truth, and the life...no one comes to the father except through him." Do we admit we are sinners, believe that Jesus is God's son, and accept him as our Lord and Saviour. Nothing else matters. So, Do you know Jesus intimately? Is He your Saviour?
Thank you to all of our friends and family who have prayed for him. My mom said he has said confidently the whole way through that he felt the prayers that everyone lifted up. How powerful prayer is!! Keep them coming!
