Wyatt and I had a spend the night party with Jackson and Amanda last night!:) We only have a short time to get in a few more hangouts. Amanda made dinner, we put the boys to bed, and we watched a couple movies. It was so nice to relax and have some girl time. This time in a couple weeks, we will be having "couple time"...Our hubbies will be back, and once we get the boys down, it will be board games, food, and lots of laughs:)
I have other friends whose husbands are back from deployment, and I am so envious. I know, I know, mine is about to be back, but I just wish the next two weeks were over. Weston and I are so ready for our lives to get back to normal. We will have a couple weeks at home tp get things back in order, and Weston to start his new job. Then, we are headed to GA for a fun-filled summer vacation. Everyday I am thinking about the small things in life that I am so excited to have back. Sunday mornings before, during, and after church, meal time, riding in the car, cooking dinner, watching movies, bath time with Wyatt, cookouts with friends, waking up to Weston everyday, going to bed together at night, and much much more! I know my fellow military spouses can empathize:)
Weston is in the process of training the replacement unit, but everything is packed and ready, and all they have left is departure briefings!!!! WAHOO! Just a couple more weeks...I think I can, I think I can....;) Yes, I can-Thank you Jesus!
Wyatt is doing great! I am amazed at how smart he really is. He has done so many things lately that I didn't know he could do or understand. His smile MELTS me, his laugh makes my day so much better, and even when he gets mad, I smile inside. He is an incredible blessing. One I thank God and Weston for giving me;)
I will post again later with some of Wyatt's acomplishments...Until then!

"Yard of the Month" and more...
I was sitting at the dinner table Sunday night when my doorbell rang. I stepped outside to find my neigbors from up the street. They introduced themselves and said they have been wanting to stop by for a while. They told me I had the best yard in the neighborhood, and that it should be "Yard of the month". We don't do a contest, but if we did, I think I would have a chance;) For those of you who know me, know I do not have a greeb thumb, but at least there is improvement! I told them that my husband was a little worried when he left, so he will be very proud to hear this report:)They said how besutiful my grass and flower beds were, and wanted to know if I had done them myself or had them done professionally....I wouldn't go that far, but I was very proud of the compliment! It attracts the eye-that's the goal!
We are on 3 weeks and still counting. Weston will be here in a few weeks and I can't tell you how anxious we are! It is almost weird to think about having him here all day eveyrday. I just don't know what I will do with myself...:)We are going to enjoy the 30 days of leave more than you can imagine. A whole un-interupted month just to ourselves! WOOHOO!
Wyatt is still working on two more bottom teeth. He is really turning into a little boy...no more baby...It is bittersweet. I miss him being so little, yet, I love watching him grow. He is so beautiful and an incredible blessing. Weston, Wyatt and I are going to have a FUN FILLED summer! He and I can't wait to do new things with Wyatt.
Speaking of my yard, I need to go cut the grass! I will update soon!
Love to you all, and we will see you soon!

Beautiful Sunday!
I am sitting here on a cloudy Sunday afternoon, still listening to worship music! It was a wonderful Sunday at church today, the college minister preached, worship music was good, and I am reminded that in a few short weeks, my husband will be by my side at church!!! I CANNOT WAIT! I hope you all had a blessed Sunday, as well.
Well, Wyatt and I survived a week of sickness. It was pretty awful. And those of you who know me well, you know I do not do well when I am sick. Oh wait, that is an understatment!!:) Not having Weston here was the worst part. He always sits by my side and makes me feel better. It was a challenge for me to get through the last few days without calling my mom, and telling her to high tail it to Texas! But, God showed me, once again, that I have him, and he will see me through. Even if I don't think I can.
We are less than a month away from Weston leaving Afghanistan! He and I are so pumped! So countdown with us! Here's to a safe and prompt, maybe early:), return!!! I love you sweetheart!
Wyatt is teething...enough said;) Will blog again later!

April showers bring May...Husband!
I am so excited to say that Weston will be home NEXT MONTH! I have waited for this day for sooo long! I remember this time last year...not something I like to think about a lot. However, I knew we would get through it, but it seemed near impossible. I knew God had a plan for me, but I had no understanding of what that would be. I am just so thankful for my salvation. I am thankful for a God who brought me through a storm I didn't believe I could weather. He had shown me strength, comfort, satisfaction, and much more. I am so proud of Weston and all of our military!! 6 weeks, give or take:)
Wyatt is running everywhere! I am so proud of him. He is such a little boy now. We have had such beautiful spring weather, so we have been playing outside a lot. We have been walking, playing in the pool, etc.. Lately, I have been trying to teach him about nature. We talk about all the things God made....flowers, trees, sun, sky, etc. He is really into birds. Everywhere we go, he points out the birds. He is becoming more interested in reading and looking at books, and turning the pages. He is constantly "talking", and I am constantly smiling. His "baby giberish" is ADORABLE. Weston is so excited to be home and be able to enjoy life with us. He is even more excited that Wyatt is "all boy" now, and they can do "guy things" :)
The homecoming ceremony they have planned is going to be really nice. I am going to record as much of Weston's arrival as I can. I will take tons of pictures, and when I do, I will post about everything!!:)
Happy Easter!! Let's celebrate that our Saviour rose from the grave!
Love to all,
