Sunday, Prayer, and Pregnancy!

I love our Sunday's. I love being at church, worshipping, hearing the word, etc. This Sunday was just an exceptionally good one. We got up and had breakfast, took our walk, which are back in full swing since it has cooled a little, went to church, ate lunch, did some shopping, made dinner, and now realxing....well, finishing laundry and Sunday chores, but you know what I mean:) This really is one of my favortie days of the week-other than Weston having to go back to work tomorrow. I am so thankful for all I have been given, and the many things I have been so graciously blessed with. My family is so incredibly important to me and when I grow old, I pray that I can look back with few regrets! I pray I can look back and be confident I did my best at following God's will and His word.

I have also committed to praying everyday for a friend and her husband. My friend Elizabeth just said goodbye to her husband. He will be gone for a year to Iraq, and I am trying to pray daily for his safety, her comfort, and ultimately God's plan to be fulfilled. There are some things that make deployment very difficult, but lots more that bring us to all knew places. It has been neat how God reminds me everyday of them. Even if I don't remember during the day, Wyatt and I pray at night! I am not just lifting her up, I am also trying to remember all of those men and women serving. I am so eternally grateful for all of my family, friends, church members, and even people I don't even know, for praying so diligently while Weston was gone. Without that, who knows where I could have been.

On another note, I am hitting 16 weeks (4 months), and I will update my picture and survey this week!

Love,
RL

I know we don't really know each other but I knew of you and Weston in college. I have been following your blog for awhile and wanted you to know how inspiring you are. Our little boys are not too far apart and my husband also spent a year in Iraq while we were stationed at Hood. Thanks for the inspiring words and you seriously have to be one of the cutest pregnant ladies I know!
