Husband to Hero!

Well, all the hard stuff is out of the way! Weston left a few days ago, and each day gets a little better..God has given what he promises, and without that, I wouldn't be where I am. Somehow he gives me the strength to stay positive and remember he will be back soon! It was a long night on Wednesday, and when we said goodbye, I believe it was the hardest thing I have ever done. But, on a good note, the countdown has begun, and I am SO SO honored and blessed that He is mine!!!:)

We have been able to use Skype, which is amazing! It is unreal that we can see eachother and talk from Texas to Afghanistan. It really helps, a lot! He should get leave sometime around the holidays, and until then, we get to see eachother and he gets to see Wyatt. We couldn't be any luckier to go through a deployment with all the technology today. Thank God for it!

I blew up and framed a picture of Weston in his uniform and me and Wyatt go up to it all the time and I remind him Daddy is at work and Loves him so much-and that we will see him soon! Wyatt just grins and coos!;)

Continue to pray daily for all the troops and their families. What our men do is an indescribable sacrifice that should always be remembered.

I will try and post a picture of us last week!

Love you all!
Rach and Wyatt-and Weston in Afghanistan;)

I cried my way through this blog post! Rachel, I am so proud of you and the strong lady you are during these times. Although, you're facing a difficult time you've chosen to remain strong and put your faith in Christ. What a blessing for Weston to have a wife like you. :) You three are in our prayers and think of you often.

Stan leaves this fall and I'm glad I have a fellow wife to go through the tough times with! :)

You said something about being neighbors! If I read that correctly, that would be awesome!!

Thank you for giving me your number. Again, so glad there are others like you around to help make the Army life easier. :)

Amen for the technology we have nowadays to get through these deployments! Y'all are a beautiful family! And like you said, it does get a little better each day and now you're counting down to his return! Keep the posts coming. :)

Rachel! I didn't know you had a blog. It is adorable. I need to re-vamp mine. I love how incredibly positive you are and the faith you keep in your day to day life. Praying for you and your husband throughout this year. Much love~
