6 Weeks Today!
Well, I am 6 weeks today. I have used the Due Date Calculator to find how far along I am, although it is give or take some days. I am waiting to hear back from Dr. Walters to schedule my OB Registration. Right now I am at Ft. Leonard Wood Army Hospital and have a really sweet doctor. She is actually Active Duty, so needless to say, she is very busy. My next appointment should supply us with more answers!! But I am feeling great and very honored! I will keep you posted!

Doctor says "You are Pregnant!

Well, I went in for blood work this morning. The nurse took my blood, and said she would call within the day and let me know the results. Within the hour the nurse and my doctor called to Congratulate me! I think I am about 4-5 weeks pregnant! YAY! Thank you Jesus!!

Well, I have had suspicions now for about a week. The only REAL sign of pregnancy was I just felt it in my heart and soul. That is really all I can say to explain it. So, Weston, very excitedly, said let's take a test. I really didn't want it to come out negative, so I put it off the rest of the afternoon, until Weston finally said...NOW!!:) I took a cheap Wal-Mart test and we weren't sure if it was positive...The line wasn't as dark as the test line. So, I reseached and found out that is doesn't have to be and most women find that if a line shows at all, you are preggers:) (Mary Lindsey, I hope you don't mind that I used you for reference.) I went on ML's facebook and compared my tests to hers. They looked the same:) How silly is that? I know. So, we went and bought 2 expensive tests and what do you know...PREGNANT showed up!! We were floored! My first thought was How do I deserve this? God is so beyond remarkable and I was shocked that I was blessed to have gotten pregnant this quickly with no problems. My God answered our prayers in "his perfect time" and we feel so blessed! So,we took a picture of the tests and put them in an email for our parents. We got on the phone and had them open the attachment while we were on the phone. Our parents were extatic, and couldn't be happier! I am so glad mine and Weston's grandparents will be here for the birth of the first Great-Granchild! How amazing! I read the other day that as soon as fertilization occurs, God has already put in to effect all the characteristics of your precious child. He is beautiful beyond descripton.

I had been told you would just "know" when you were feeling ready to be a mommy:) I had been feeling that way for a few weeks, but wasn't sure if it was just emotions(because let's be honest, what women doesn't love babies), or if God was really speaking to me. I began praying about it, and really seeking if this was from God or if I needed to relax and "enjoy the now". After praying for a few weeks, I decided to talk to Weston about this "tug" on my heart. To my surprise, he had been feeling the same things. So we prayed seperately, and together, and after some seeking, we knew God was saying, it's time!! We weren't sure if we would be getting pregnant right away, or if God just wanted us off birth control to head that way. So, we decided we would leave it up to God and would be blessed by God when he knew we were ready. So about 3 months passes, no sign of pregnancy and I had not gotten my period. My Doc said that was normal, and we went on about our life.
