My First Garden

As long as I can remember, my mom had a garden every year-if not two. I remember her sending me out to pick tomatoes, or cucumbers, and I remember thinking, "I hate this, and I will NEVER have a garden!" HA. It's funny how we change....
I had bought some herbs, thinking all I wanted was a small herb garden. While my mom was out to visit last week, she offered to help plant, and assured me I would want more than just a few herbs. Well, as soon as she got back home from the local seed store with everything to build a raised garden, I knew she was right! Weston built my base, and mom went to work! Man, it was so so so so nice to sit back, relax, and not have to do the work:) So, in advance, THANK YOU AGAIN, MOM!!:)

Planting is done! We had Beefsteak tomatoes, roma tomatoes,
green pepper, jalapeƱos, squash, cucumber, rosemary, basil,
cilantro, and italian parsley:)

Even the Chickens Love it;)
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday, and I hope this encourages you to start a garden, even if its just a couple herbs:) Thanks to Mandy at Mandy's Marbles, I was encouraged to start one!

Yay!!! That was a smart idea to add the fence around it... some of our plants have been eaten, even though we have a fenced yard. :(
