So, I have been feeling sad the last few weeks about not being pregnant anymore. I really have loved every second of it, and want to be pregnant all the time. Well, not so much anymore. I am still loving this time in my life, but I am definitely ready to have this baby. I am getting some practice in not sleeping through the night, and am getting more and more uncomfortable. I am not unable to do things, it is just that I am carrying a 20 pound basketball around with me. I am 35 weeks pregnant or 8 1/2 months and this little baby is still moving and kicking all over the place. I do think his/her strength has improved because sometimes it feels like it is trying to kick a hole through me. I have gained about 21 pounds and going strong for the last 5 weeks...YIKES!...I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. I will miss being pregnant, but cannot wait to meet this sweet baby that I already feel I know so well. And let me tell you this baby is a rascal!:)
My next doctor appointment is on the 1st. After this appointment I will be seen every week. He didn't see any need to see me every two weeks after the last appointment, so I will just start on every week after next week. I am hoping I can squeeze out of them what they think as to my progress and whether or not I will be late, on time, etc etc....I am curious as to what they will say on this next checkup. I will keep you updated!
Baby's room is ready for baby, car seat is in, bottles are ready, etc.. Weston is so excited he about can't stand it. I am almost more anxious to see him when this baby comes, than the baby:)
A few more weeks, and I will be writing to tell you about us being home with a baby! Keep in touch!!

Week 33
Well here we are in week 33- 8 MONTHS PREGNANT! Oh my goodness I can't believe it! We just got back from Georgia for Labor Day. Oh, we miss it so much. We had a great time with our families, but it was good to come home. My back has started to hurt in the last week, for the last week-I guess I am just starting to experience signs of being 8 months pregnant:) I had a doctor apppointment on Wednesday. I was very pleased and felt very good after coming out of this appointment. I had a really good doctor who brought in my chart and we went through everything. He said the baby is perfect! Everything on our ultrasound showed a perfectly healthy and well porportioned baby. There was enough amniotic fluid, my blood pressure and sugar was perfect, and my weight gain is where it should be. I have really tried hard to have a healhty pregnancy and I am proud that I gave my baby the healthiest environment I could. The doctor said my size was perfect for how far along I am, and he thought the baby would be a perfect size for a normal delivery...hopefully it will stay that way:)Our birthinf classes went well, and our tour of the hosital was great. It is a brand new L&D ward and it will be very nice when the time comes.
Still working at the preschool, although, I am starting to wonder how much longer I can do it:( With my back hurting, it makes it really hard to work with eleven 3 year olds.
I am anxiously awaiting this precious baby's arrival, but I am also feeling really sad about not being pregnant anymore. I cannot think of another more precious thing than being pregnant. I have enjoyed it sooo much! I am finishing up the nursery and starting to get everything ready. I have all the clothes cleaned, bottles and paci's cleaned, and we are going to attempt the car seat...Other than that, still doing great, and ready to enjoy the last 2 months of pregnancy!!
Food Aversions: Chinese, Mexican, and depending on the moment-many others
Food Cravings: Cereal, Subway, fruit, and Caffeine Free Coke:)
Weight Gain: 20 pounds
Swelling: Little bits in my feet after a long work day
Body Temp: ALWAYS HOT
Baby Movements: All the time
I am going to attempt recording the baby moving around soon!
Hope all is well!
